Almost. A big thanks to Doug Mosurock for destroying my dreams of a respectable Eddie Murphy….comeback trail ablaze. No, I had not seen the ad for Norbit. Is Norbit a “victim” of the annual Jan./Feb. shelf cleanings? Maybe not. I don’t see a ‘2005′ date on that IMDB entry, do you? I’m on the fence. And the ad…care to see it? Should you? Should I give you an easy out? Provide you with the instant power of dismissal? Sure, here you go. Remember, this guy over here, this guy remains on the fence. LOOK AT THAT CAST!!!

Well, should I take any heart in the fact that Charlie Murphy had a hand in writing this? I mean, I’ve been on board with C-Murph since his CB4 days, but I dunno how this film could possibly be redeemed.
Just do what I do and pop in Golden Child and relive the Eddie Murphy glories of yesteryear.
