Memphis exports get no better than this.

It’s one thing to have this LP choke the Memphis thrift shop LP bins (over the past 15 - 20 years), it’s another to watch WHY.

One day, when I’m not this tired, I’ll relate the story of taking a lot of drugs and prank calling every name on the back of the Dog Police LP. Looked ‘em up in the phone book. This was a long time ago, but the conspicuous sprawl-located phone exchanges and babies crying in the backgrounds did little to deter the recipients from waxing, and waxing, and waxing, and waxing……

…you can occasionally read me here.

My favorite Creem writer. A man that walked around with a stack of index cards, jotting down the hot and hilarious line, then later building some form of music journalism around the joke. It always worked and it always killed. I’m a little ashamed to admit that I “rendered” some of his quips for my purposes (but I didn’t outright steal them). Everyone must have thier influences. This says it better than I can.
