That’s impossible. Apples and oranges. The only connection is that DLR ripped a lot of stage moves from Jim Dandy. Otherwise, the bands are completely different. Different time periods and different styles (70’s California Heavy Metal and sort of stripped-down early 70’s Southern Rock). Song for song, I enjoy Van Halen more, as they wrote great pop-metal. B.O.A. is more of an acquired taste and I haven’t fully….acquired, yet they have a fascinating back story.

Please describe the degrees of quality separating Black Oak Arkansas from Van Halen. I don’t get it.
